It's Just Too Much

These pictures were taken last week when, believe it or not, the pollen was worse than it is now. Poppet and Suki's nostrils were yellow with pollen.

She didn't have a hankie. Bless her heart.

Oh well, nothing to do but go eat some more.

I was trying to get a close up of her face while we were in the barn. Nope, not having any of it. Her nostril were not only yellow, but the blaze down head was yellow.

Several weeks ago, I had some chicken house fertilizer put on the pasture. After a couple of rains, wow! The horses are having a great feast. This is still the rye grass I planted last fall.

Poor babies. We sure wouldn't want to be around if they sneezed.BOL

Awful pollen! But lucky horses to have such nice grass to feast on! Wish Whiskey could join them -- he would love it.

What lush green grass. Great to grow your own fertilizer.
