I Did It Again
Off to the feed store to get horse feed. TO GET HORSE FEED. I need to focus. They had some more baby chicks. Americana; just what I wanted. These are light colored, whereas, my other ones are dark. Anyway, I couldn't resist. See the little yellow one by the tree. She wants to hang with the big girls.
It seems she follows just a special one right now. They both were really scared at first, but they seem to be mingling in. Sometimes the bigger ones would peck the little ones but now they are doing good.
This was the other one. She was tired and sleepy. Just had to have a little nap. I have brought everyone in for the night and everyone is doing okay.

Three More
My two little biddies was just not enough.
They would CHIRP really
loud. Saturday afternoon I would leave the bedroom where they were and when they would chirp, I would just start talking to them to keep them quiet. In a few minutes, here comes one around the cornor. I put her back and about thirty minutes later they both rounded the corner looking for me. Today I bought three more and this was their first day outside. This worked. I have them back inside for the night and the are perfectly happy.

Skylar Escapade
This morning I woke to rain at six am. It was not hard; just enough to wake me up. I rolled over and then remembered I had left Skylar outside last night. Her idea. Anytime it starts to rain, she will scratch at the door.
No scratching, so I get up to go let her in. No Skylar. I call and call. Still no Skylar. Since it was lighting in the west I knew she would be afraid. I go in and call my friend down the road and Skylar was there. She brought her home on her way to work. It is only about a half a mile from my house. This picture is of her laying out on the wet ground after the rain. Again, her idea. It is only thirty-nine degrees now.
It was sixty degrees at ten am and by one it was down to thirty-nine. It is twenty-seven now at five pm. At least I am in the one fourth of the nation that is not getting snow or ice.
Sissy just says let me in the house. I don't want to hang out here with Skylar.
