I think cold weather is already here, but it is going to get colder. I got down to twenty-three degrees last night and it was nineteen the night before. It warmed up to about forty-five today but my little Koi pond still has ice around the edges where the water splashes.
You can see there is still a little layer of ice on the edges of the water, also.
I think it would have frozen all the way over last night if I hadn't have had the spitter going. It not suppose to freeze tonight but the cold front comes in tomorrow and it is going to be around thirteen degrees. See, I think that is a little to cold for northern Louisiana. I know I shouldn't whine, the rest of the nation is getting a lot worse.

Ah, that looks so pretty! And cold! brrrrr!
Hope the fishies are way at the bottom... We have single digits here in Texas, now that is not Texas weather..
