Foghorn is not Feeling Well

I feel bad for making fun of Foghorn napping all the time. Last week I took a picture of Foghorn napping. Well, I noticed a couple of days later he was napping standing up. It got worse everyday. Yesterday afternoon he went in the shed where the hens lay there eggs. He spent the night there. I just closed the shed so nothing would get him. I don't think he has been out all day. He might be feeling better this afternoon because I heard him crowing. Hopefully, he will be well soon.
The first picture is just where my three hens that lay will nest. I have six nesting boxes in the hen house. Do you think they go there to lay. No, they have to find somewhere else. Actually, they were laying in the hen house, but one found another place so the other two had to start laying there also. The Ameraucanas are going on seven months old and should be laying. Lazy slugs better get with it.

I hope Foghorn is feeling better soon. It is so hard to know what to do to help out a chicken when they don't feel well. I have been thinking about you walking in the woods where there are coyotes and it is true that usually they are shy, but here in California we have some that work in packs and they kill dogs and attack people. Their tactic up here is to send in one coyote to lure the dog away from the house into the woods and there the pack attack. So, do be careful. And I have to say it again. I love your barn!

Poor Foghorn! Hope he is feeling better soon! Regarding the comment above, yes, you have the coolest barn in town! You should do a whole post about the barn and show pictures of the inside. California coyotes sound scary!
