Trekking Through The Woods

Last yesterday afternoon, Skylar and I went trekking through the woods; hoping to scare off coyotes. I decided to take pictures on this stroll. Of course, you have to suit up to go off through the woods. If not, the mosquitoes will eat you alive.
A couple of weeks ago while I was in the back, I found some spider lilies blooming. I picked them all but one so I could have a bouquet. You can see the stalk of one remaining and now the plant part is coming up. That is the back of Skylar's head. Every now and then she gets the scent of something and she will just stop and smell around for a few minutes.

And of course, you can't go down in the woods without wading in the branch.

The last picture is of one of the trails the coyotes made. There is a lot of them but they are slowing fading away; so maybe I'm succeeding in keeping them away.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I love your barn! Be careful of those coyotes. They scare me. You have a beautiful farm. I'm enjoying visiting.

Beck, you've turned into quite the photographer.

See any snakes on your walk?
