But, isn't it cute. I think it is about two months old now. 
Poor Poppet and Suki are out in the pasture grazing everyday; what I don't know. It is so HOT and DRY. It has been over two weeks since we had rain; and then only seven hundreds of an inch. That didn't last the afternoon. What is so sad is that it has rained around my area, just not here. Oh well, no need whining about it. 
As soon as they saw me walk to the fence to take their picture, here they come. Treats! So I had to go back in the house to get something. 
Pears this time. Good and juicy. They had apple this morning. I still have a couple of ears of corn for their treat tomorrow.

We don't like it. 
Thirty-seven years ago I gave birth to this wonderful little boy. Sorry for the quality of the picture. It was thirty-seven years ago. I had to scrape and scrounge to find it. Cute baby. 
Now a handsome man. This is Tony and me a couple of months ago at a concert. He makes his mother proud. 
We are finally getting some glorious rain. We had about a quarter of an inch around the first of July and then a little a week or so before. In other words, not enough. Less than an inch in over a month is just not enough. 
We have over an inch so far this morning. 
Everybody needs a little drink. 
This morning, while I was on the front porch swinging hoping more rain was on the way, Skylar started growling. I looked up and so this dog in the front yard. He soon went on his way. A few minutes later it started to rain. I looked out in the pasture and this dog was chasing one of my chickens. Never fear; my running and yelling scared him off. 
Little hummingbirds are really greedy little suckers. Can you see the one in the crepe myrtle? He is guarding the feeder. 
And this one sneaks up and is feeding from the back side. I know, it is really hard to see them. 
To me! I requested a new bird bath for Mothers Day. So, my son ask which one I wanted. I didn't know. 
These are a few of the bucks that are coming around for their corn. This is one of the largest. He is a seven point; his left side of the rack hasn't pointed the eight, yet. There are at least two more six points about the same size but their antlers aren't as impressive. You will get a better look by enlarging.
Here are a couple of younger boys. 
And now a smaller one. Not sure he wants to share with the squirrels. Oh well, alright. Still no sign of fawns. I haven't even seen any does in a couple of weeks. 
Got up and went to pick blueberries this morning. Early, before it gets to hot. It's ninety-seven here now. 
It is just the begining of the season. I don't think it last real long. 
It is a really nice blueberry farm. I picked a gallon of berries. I might try to go back before the end of the season.
