Remember Mating Season

This is one of the adults at feeding time. Really, two. One is to the right and lower; you just can't see her well.

The pictures I took of the eggs were frog eggs. And I have lots of little tadpoles in the pond.

But, I also have some baby fish. Do you see this one? If you enlarge the pictures, you can see them a lot better.

This is really a challenge. There are three tiny fish in this picture. Or shall I say, at least three.

These two are larger and easier to see.

And this one. I think I have seen at least ten babies. We will see what I end up with. But for sure, we know a few of the eggs survived.

If they made cameras that see things like eyeballs...
It's hard with reflections on the water. I noticed that while taking pictures of the alligator last year.

But good luck! I hope they survive.

Do you have a plastic pond or a natural one?
I've thought about putting something in the 'cow bowl', which is really an old sugar cane bowl that fills with rain water. I need to remember to put one of those mosquito thingys in it when we go back this weekend.

Yay for baby fishes... I do see them when I enlarge the pics :) I love hearing all the frogs in our yard right now... so nice to sit outside at night and just listen.

Yes, Linda, I have a pastic one; actually, three. One is five gallons, one is twenty gallons and the big one is one hundred and twenty-five gallons. I have the water flowing through lava rocks and plants.
